From problem to outcome
Commission is worked out in a spreadsheet
Someone exports posted sales each month, applies each rep's rate by hand and hopes nothing changed. Bitta Commission calculates commission from the posted sale itself, inside Business Central.
Reps question payouts and nobody can show the math
Every commission entry has a trace: the base, cost and margin, the rate or band used, any split or override, and the arithmetic that gives the amount. Finance and the rep see the same numbers.
Returns and short payments are fixed by hand
A credit memo takes back the commission of the line it returns. Short payments and payment discounts reduce what becomes payable, and an unapplied payment puts the commission back on hold.
Commission is paid before the customer pays
Choose for each plan whether commission is payable on posting, as the customer pays, or only when the invoice is fully paid. A late-payment penalty can reduce commission on invoices paid late.
Commission does not tie to the general ledger
Settlements pay through purchase invoices or a payroll-ready export using standard posting, and optional G/L accrual books the commission you owe before it is paid.
How it works
Step 1
Install and run the assisted setup
Install the app, paste your licence and run the assisted setup. It asks how your salespeople earn, when commission can be paid and how you pay it, then creates a first plan and the number series.
Read the chapter: Get startedA plan card: the plan and its components. Assigned To lists who uses the plan. Step 2
Build plans from components
A plan is a set of components, each with its own method, rate lines and conditions. Assign plans to salespeople or teams with dates, and add add-on plans on top of a main plan.
Read the chapter: Plans and ratesThe Commission FactBox on a sales order. Step 3
Post sales and read the trace
Sales documents show the commission before you post. Posting sales invoices and credit memos writes the commission entries, and the trace explains every amount.
Read the chapter: Sales and postingThe commission is released in the same steps as the customer's payments. Step 4
Release and pay
Commission becomes payable on posting or as the customer pays. Settlements pay it through purchase invoices or a payroll-ready export, and the commission journal handles adjustments.
Read the chapter: Pay commissionStep 5
Close periods for tiers, targets and teams
Closing a period pays sales tiers, target and growth bonuses, draws and guarantees, and team overrides, measured on the whole period.

Feature tour
Eleven calculation methods
Percent of sales, percent of margin, margin band rates, amount per unit, fixed per sale, sales tiers, target bonus, growth, draw, team override and team target bonus.
Rates by item, customer and group
Rate lines by item, item group, customer or customer group, dated commission costs and cost adjustment for margin plans, a minimum margin check, and customer terms that reduce the base.
Splits, overlays and line salespeople
Split a sale between salespeople by percentage, give overlay credit to a manager or specialist on top of the main salesperson, and pay a line's own salesperson when it has one.
A higher rate for new customers
Pay a different rate on a customer's first sale, or within a set number of days of it, or pay a component only on sales to new customers.
Release as the customer pays
Make commission payable on posting, as the customer pays, or when the invoice is fully paid. Credits applied to the invoice and payment discounts reduce what becomes payable.
Returns, clawbacks and late payment
A credit memo takes back the commission of the invoice line it returns, clawbacks recover commission already paid, and a late-payment penalty reduces commission on invoices paid past their due date.
Teams, roles, targets and tiers
Teams with member roles, team override and team target bonus, sales tiers, target and growth bonuses, draws and guarantees, all paid when you close the period.
Settlements, payroll export and accrual
Pay commission through purchase invoices to a vendor or a payroll-ready export. Optional G/L accrual books earned commission to an accrued commission account before it is paid.
A trace for every amount
The Commission Trace shows how each entry was calculated: the base, cost and margin, rate or band, credit share, period totals and the arithmetic, so anyone can check the number by hand.
Estimates while you sell
The Commission FactBox on sales quotes, orders and invoices shows what the document will earn each salesperson before it is posted.
Reports and role center
22 reports, including statements, pay advice, liability, aging and period comparison, and role center tiles for what is owed, waiting and needs attention, each opening the entries it counts.
API pages and Power BI
API pages for commission entries, earning lines, settlements and assignments, and analytics queries with a Power BI report template.

Frequently asked questions
What does Bitta Commission cost?
The Standard plan is USD 249 per month and covers 10 salespeople. Additional capacity is USD 35 per month for each pack of 5 salespeople. Billing is monthly with no annual commitment. A 30-day trial covers 3 salespeople, one trial per tenant.
Is the licence per company?
No. The licence is per tenant. It counts the distinct salespeople who earn commission across all companies in the environment, so a salesperson who works in two companies is counted once. One subscription covers every company in the tenant.
Does Bitta Commission run payroll?
It produces payroll-ready export for each settlement and can post vendor payouts to the general ledger. It does not calculate wages, taxes, benefits or filings.
What is on the roadmap?
The following are planned and not available in Bitta Commission 2.0: multiple currencies, contests and ranking, service and project commissions, dispute cases, and plan simulation. Today's product pays commission on posted sales invoices and credit memos in the local currency.
