End User License Agreement

1. Agreement to this license

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of Universal Search and any other Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application published by Bitta Apps LLC ("Bitta Apps," "we," or "us"). By installing, activating, or using an application within your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the application.

2. Grant of license

Subject to this Agreement, Bitta Apps grants Customer a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the application within Customer's own Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments. This license does not permit use of the application on behalf of, or for the benefit of, any third party outside Customer's own organization.

3. Permitted use

Customer may install and run the application across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments it operates, including production and sandbox environments, for its own internal business operations. Customer may allow its employees and authorized users to access the application as part of their normal use of Business Central.

4. Restrictions

Customer agrees not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application, except and only to the extent that applicable law expressly permits such activity despite this restriction
• Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise redistribute the application or its license key to any third party
• Use the application to build or support a product that competes with it
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices contained in the application

5. Free license activation and term

The application is provided free of charge. When an administrator activates the application through its activation wizard, a license key valid for a term of 50 years from the date of issue is generated and applied automatically. No purchase or payment is required to activate.

If the application has not yet been activated, or activation cannot complete, the application operates in a limited grace mode until activation is completed successfully.

6. Data practices

As part of activation, and only after the administrator consents in the activation wizard, the application sends a limited set of identifying and contact information to Bitta Apps so that a license key can be issued. The full list of data sent, why it is collected, and how it is stored is described in our Privacy Policy, in the section titled "Business Central applications." This Agreement incorporates that section by reference.

7. Telemetry

The application sends operational telemetry through Microsoft Application Insights. This telemetry covers performance metrics, errors, and diagnostic events used to monitor reliability and improve the application. It does not include the contents of Customer's business records, documents, or transactions.

8. Intellectual property

The application, including its source code, object code, design, and documentation, is and remains the sole property of Bitta Apps LLC. This Agreement grants Customer only the right to use the application as described above. No ownership rights are transferred.

9. No warranty

The application is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitta Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to Customer's use of, or inability to use, the application.

11. Updates

Application updates may be delivered automatically through Microsoft AppSource. Updates may add, change, or remove features. Continuing to use the application after an update is installed constitutes acceptance of the updated application.

12. Termination

Bitta Apps may terminate this license if Customer materially breaches this Agreement. Customer may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the application from its Business Central environments. Sections of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive.

13. Governing law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to this agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
