End User License Agreement

Effective date: July 22, 2026

1. Agreement to this license

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications published by Bitta Apps LLC, including Universal Search and Bitta Retail POS ("Bitta Apps," "we," or "us"). By installing, activating, or using an application within your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the application.

2. Grant of license

Subject to this Agreement and the commercial terms applicable to the application, Bitta Apps grants Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application within Customer's own Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments. The applicable subscription, order, plan, or AppSource listing controls whether an application is free or paid, its term, and any company, environment, user, terminal, or other usage limits.

3. Permitted use

Customer may install and run the application in the Business Central production and sandbox environments allowed by the applicable entitlement, solely for Customer's internal business operations. Customer may allow its employees, contractors, and other authorized users to access the application on its behalf, but Customer remains responsible for their use.

4. Restrictions

Customer agrees not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application, except and only to the extent that applicable law expressly permits such activity despite this restriction
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise redistribute the application or its license key to any third party
  • Use the application to build or support a product that competes with it
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices contained in the application

5. Entitlement, activation, and term

Each application follows its own published entitlement model. Universal Search may be offered without charge. Bitta Retail POS and other applications may require a paid plan, a signed entitlement, and a licensed terminal or other capacity allowance. A free offer for one application does not make another application free.

When activation is required, the application binds its entitlement to the authorized tenant, environment, company, product, plan, and capacity represented by the activation request. The entitlement remains valid only for its issued term and may be refreshed, deactivated, suspended, or revoked according to the applicable commercial terms and this Agreement. Any grace behavior is limited to what the specific application expressly provides.

6. Data practices

As part of activation, and after the administrator follows the application's consent flow, the application sends limited tenant, environment, company, product, entitlement, version, and contact information to Bitta Apps so an entitlement can be issued and protected. Optional integrations may also transmit the data needed to perform a payment, printing, licensing, support, or telemetry operation. The data categories, purposes, and service-provider disclosures are described in our Privacy Policy, in the section titled "Business Central applications." This Agreement incorporates that section by reference.

7. Telemetry and third-party services

An application may send operational telemetry through Microsoft Application Insights or another service identified in the Privacy Policy. Telemetry is used for security, reliability, diagnostics, and product improvement. Bitta Apps does not intentionally include full business documents or payment-card credentials in telemetry.

Optional payment processors, terminal services, printing services, and other third-party services are enabled and configured by Customer. Customer is responsible for its accounts, merchant agreements, fees, privacy notices, hardware, network access, and compliance obligations for those services. Bitta Apps is not the payment processor, acquiring bank, card network, or printer service and does not control a third party's availability or terms.

8. Intellectual property

The application, including its source code, object code, design, and documentation, is and remains the sole property of Bitta Apps LLC. This Agreement grants Customer only the right to use the application as described above. No ownership rights are transferred.

9. No warranty

The application is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitta Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to Customer's use of, or inability to use, the application.

11. Updates

Application updates may be delivered automatically through Microsoft AppSource. Updates may add, change, or remove features. Continuing to use the application after an update is installed constitutes acceptance of the updated application.

12. Termination

Bitta Apps may terminate this license if Customer materially breaches this Agreement. Customer may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the application from its Business Central environments. Sections of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive.

13. Governing law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to this agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
